I needed a wee break from painting 17th century ECW stuff so, in the after glow of an excellent campaign game of Chain of Command on Monday I sat Wednesday afternoon to work on some terrain but, being in an indecisive frame of mind (or was I?) I rather got distracted and started painting some vehicle stowage that I had bought from Anyscale Models and before I knew it I had spent the better part of two days on the stowage, a Sherman Firefly ( a repaint job) a Citreon staff car for the Boche, four jump off point markers for Chain of Command and some rather poignant roadside graves.
I also built a spare back bin onto the spare turret from Warlord's plastic Churchill kit. It's not perfect but it'll do and it gives me the option of fielding the Churchill as either a gun tank or an AVRE.
Whilst it's not what I needed to do it's an itch scratched and I can concentrate on getting my Scottish Covenanters built now...possibly 🤔
