Bolt Action. D-1

Bleugh!! Don't get too close to the monitor as I have the Lurgie. So, with the day off work I spent a wee bit if time this evening finishing off some smaller projects for the game tomorrow, namely a few more Czech Hedgehogs made from sprue and three minefield markers for...erm...a minefield.

The minefield pieces are small resin castings from Anyscale Models ( https://anyscalemodels.com/shop/scale-1-56-for-28mm.html )and are excellent value for money, The minefield signs are from the same Normandy Signs sheet as the Dubonnet advertisement. I stuck these onto some card and then, using some very short lengths of bamboo skewer superglued and miliputted onto some pennies, I made up the sign posts themselves. The signs, once they were dry, were just superglued onto the posts. A bit of scenic grass and, hey presto, minefield markers, keep out!!

And lastly, in what must appear like a tribute to the D Day logisticians, I'm all packed up and raring to go. Now the waiting begins....

    1. Cheers Richie, my only worry is that you will win. So, in honour of the occasion I have had some special six sided dice that only have 1s and 2s on them made for the Germans ;)
